I run my mit through the washing machine after washing the car to get the dirt out of it.

Never had luck with sheepskin. I've had fair luck with various microfiber pads, but still prefer 100% cotton chenille pads.

As for sudsy soaps, you really don't need suds, it's more about the chemical ability of the soapy water to lift dirt and allow the wash pad/mitt to remove it without trapping it against the surface. Of course you can get massive amounts of suds with some of the foam guns, if you prefer it, but this usually requires a high pressure setup.

I use Zaino Z6 for soap, but have had good luck with Sonus and Einszett soaps too.

My car is Jet black too and after trying many brands of car shampoo. I have had the best luck with the Zaino Z-7 Show Car Wash.

I also started out with a high quality sheepskin mitt. This this is soft enough to sleep on, yet it was swirling my paint. I switched over to a cotton pad and got better results.

+1 on the suds not really mattering, look at ONR, it doesn't suds up at all when applied with a pad.
