Tachoscheibe Aufkleber... (speedo decalls)
Tachoscheibe = Speedometer
Aufkleber = decall So… after seeing that 135i performance with the M3 speedo & tach gauges got me thinking… So… I started to poke around ebay.de Take a look at what I found… First, here is that 135i Performance… 135i w/M3 instrument gauges - from Sunday’ Burger King coding event. And here is what I found on ebay.de… Lights on… Lights on… And the needles… And… New 1M speedo/tach… I kind of think the aftermarket gauges look a whole lot better than the 1M prototype. I like the M3 cluster the best though. But that will run you upwards of 600 euros when all is said and done. IF anyone wants to find the speedo gauges on ebay.de here is the link. I know on older e36 and e46 models there was a removeable chip - in teh cluster. In this "chip" the mileage was recorded. IF you installed a different instrument cluster there was a little red light at the end of the MPH on the speedo that would light up. Telling you something ain't right. BMW also has the ABS and Trans ECU's record miles. ALL three (or two for MT cars) have to match - or that light will come on. I put the 1M instrument pannel there just for show. Because these aftermarket decalls look A LOT like the new 1M. I suspect the same German company makes them both. lol But that is just a hunch. |

I do not know. I think I would have a speedo shop do it for me. They could not charge that much if you just hand them everything. I know of a very good speedo (Tacho - in German) shop near Frankfurt. They do excellent work. They can even make you custom dials or anything you can dream of. WSM Tachometerdienst GmbH Neuwiesenweg 6 64293 Darmstadt tel. 06151958480 www.wsm.de |

Someone on the forum has been making some by himself a little while ago. He was selling them pretty cheap and they looked pretty like the real thing. Just make a search, it should show up
