N55 BMW Performance Air Intake Question

Just wondering if anyone has installed this on the N55?

I have PPK Stage 1 and BMW PE and I'm looking at this for my next mod - anyone running this same set up? If so, was it worth it?

N52 has a BMW Performance intake but there isn't one for the N54/N55.

Gruppe M makes the best looking intake for the N55 that looks similar to BMW Perf N52, but don't ask about the price.

Better off just getting a drop in air filter.

I recommend the aFE Magnum Stage 2 Si for a sealed intake (but you will need to seal up the MAF sensor properly yourself with a gasket ring or foam tape to avoid error codes that some people are getting). Gruppe M is a beast looking and fitting intake, but costs beast money.

I'm selling used BMS intake tubing, all you would need is to buy filter from BMS and it'd be good to go. PM me if you're interested

If you do not mind an open intake just get the BMS.
If you are looking for a closed one get the Afe.

The Exoticspeed CF intake is probably my favourite, or at least on par with the Gruppe M.

Do people actually buy this stuff? How can someone justify such an outrageous price for something that does so little?
