I'm having a hard time with the rear inlet, how the hell are you supposed to unbolt it from the engine ?

I cut it in half and broke the rest off. Didn't need to re-use it.

Thanks Spencer -- definitely a good reference. I've worked my way through a few of these videos now and this will be immensely helpful!

Small victory !
I managed to remove all 3 bolts holding the rear inlet to the block. Now, how you fit a 2" inlet in there is still a mistery to me.

Found the torque specs for the front subframe bolts on TIS.

"silver (ZNS) M12 x 1.5 10.9 100 Nm"

I also cut mine, I think everyone does.

But, I think you should be able to remove it whole if you pull the motor mounts and drop the engine down. Not sure how far you'd have to drop it though. I do know going up didn't work and just breaking the turboside flange off wasn't enough. The bend is just 1/2' too much to fit.

Yeah i did it too, cut the bottom part and slide the rest from the top.
I even installed my 2" rear inlet, which requiered more force than i'm comfortable using.

So how does that impact the life of the new inlet being absolutely shitf* stuffed in there?

Wish I saw this post earlier but great write up and review. Very thorough. I also want to thank you for the link and referral on the Spec Stage 3+ Clutch kit and Mfactory Flywheel.

Good luck with the vehicle!
