Berrymans or marvel add to oil?

Does anybody add any type of cleaner to the engine before changing it? I used to add chemtool and run the engine for 15 minutes before draining the oil in my chevelle. Just wondered if anyone does that here?

It's very likely unnecessary if you're using an oil that meets spec and changing it at a non-ridiculous interval. Combustion byproducts, fuel contamination, and oil degradation are the primary sources of oil contamination, and none should be anything like what you had in your Chevelle. Simply drive the car long enough to get the oil hot and drain it.

Not in a million years. Only thing going in there is really high quality oil.....
