Little Hazard Symbol on Gauge Cluster

What is the little hazard symbol near the mileage on my gauge cluster mean? How can I decipher what it is making it turn on? It also seems like it has been keeping how many miles I have driven since it turned on.

My clock is not set - could this cause the hazard symbol?

How do I turn it off?

It is letting you know you have a WARNING pending... you have a triangle with an (!) in it right>? You need to go thru the BC or iDrive and read what its telling you. Could be it is bellow freezing outside... or low fuel... or a something more serious. You have to read what the warning is on the BC. Or better yet... read your manual.

You hit the button on the end of the turn signal to clear the (!). No its not telling you the clock needs to be set. But you can do that thru the MENU button on the dash/radio (non iDrive) or via iDrive menu.

a useful guide, though Dackel (per usual) covered just about everything. It's probably nothing too serious if there aren't any other warnings, but check it out regardless.

thanks! i did notice that on the nav is a similar signal, at the top, and it says something about setting the clock. so im doing that first

FYI - It was the clock. Set the time, thing went away.
