Which bung for o2, and which for wideband?
I am getting mixed answers on which bungs are for the o2 sensors and which is for a wideband (i.e. the one you PLUG) on a AR downpipe for n55.
http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11081 in that thread it looks like he left the middle one for the wideband. same in this thread: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...highlight=bung however, another member told me the two closest to the turbo are for the o2 sensors, and the one closest to the mid pipe is to be plugged. please help. jb |

I used the two forward bungs and plugged the other one. I did this because it was closer to stock location. So far I've had no issues in about 300 miles with some hard driving. One thing to note though, with my catted DP the rear O2 sensor does ride against the underside and bends kinks the wire harness slightly. I don't think this will be an issue but I plan to do a good visual inspection next time on the lift and make sure everything is holding up ok. I bet you will be ok either way though.

The o2 wire not long enough to reach the bung closed to mid-pipe, the pics you saw from N54 the guy used down pipe fix. I have same car and same down pipe as you and I used first two bung like I told you and no problem. Good luck

its long enough....as I am running the car right now with 1 towards the turbo, the middle plugged, and the 2nd towards the midpipe.
I CANNOT BELIEVE these companies can't provide instructions for something they get 600 bucks for....pathetic. |

true to that....but i want it the "right" way....the "best" way - and I am getting mixed answers.
If you see the 2nd link above, its obvious he used the one closest to midpipe. |

And yes, why can't AR post some instructions on their site. Just out of curiosity, did you guys receive a plug with your DP or did you have to search around town to find one?

I didn't....lame:thumb down I had to drive all over town trying to find one that fit and was not too long. The DP does sound great though, even on stock exhaust. Once I get a tune I'll be able to get the full benefit of the better breathing.
