OEM Tire Wear
What is the typical time/miles you get with the OEM 135M-sport model? The reallllly expensive run flats ones.
I keep having tire problems with them losing pressure and have been in the BMW dealer multiple times in the last 2 months with tires getting low. I had to get front tires put on last Friday and Saturday another rear one went flat. The dealer has come back and said the tire is at the wear bar and need to replace it. They have 3,000-5,000 miles on them and I do not drive my car hard at all and no burn outs. It has been sitting all winter and only been out a few months this year. Also, they just passed the NY inspection Friday and 24 hours later, I need new tires? |

Post photos of your tires if you can.

In regards to premature wear, maybe you have serious toe issues and need to get a new alignment. |

I would think that 3-5k is nothing. I don't drive crazy by any means so would expect
BMW actually is replacing the back two tires at no charge which is good so I don't think I am going to get the picture of the tires. I know there is a ton of pot holes in upstate new york but since my car has been on the lift multiple times with tire issues there and if they burned through them so fast, i would think a tech would have said "Hey your wear pattern is way off" wouldn't they? I just remember standard tires on older cars I had that it was pretty evident if you needed an alignment and that didn't even burn through tires that fast. |
