Nice. This tempts me but I really would prefer to run 245 or 255 square on 17's since the RS3's are dirt cheap on 17" rims.

Thats easy. You can run a 245 on any 8in wheel with a 40 offset or greater or a 255 on any 8.5 inch wheel with a greater than 40 offset

-2.1* in the rear must be scary on a rutted highway. I used to have around that in the back and I HATED it on the road.

Rolled the lips in on the front and gave it a slight pull. The new shape is visible from the outside, but only if you know where to look .
The rears have a squared-off lip, so rolling it flat wasn't an option. Just rolled it around the plastic inner liner and gave it a slight pull. Can't tell from the outside on this one.

It's not that bad, but definitely noticeable. I think toe has more to do with rut-following than camber though.

Thanks for the information... I am about to do this task as I'm trying to fit 255/275 Dunlop Star Specs.

For the front, did you cut that part of metal where the fender and front bumper connect?

For the rear, did you consider cutting any part of the square lip off, and then rolling it? I haven't taken the fender liner out yet to see, but I think two pieces of metal join there, and expect seam sealer as well.

FYI. These setups work with 255's in front UNTIL you put on M3 suspension bits. If you do that, 255's no longer tuck up into the fender and are significantly too wide for even a roll / pull.

If you have stock geometry, you're good to go with 255's. I won my first autox with 255's up front as well.

Nope. No roll. Just maxed out camber on the stock links.

As a side note I have pistas as my winter wheels. Love the look...hate having to clean them.

the m3 suspension arms increase track at the hub, but the strut hat mounting location remains a constant, so the effect on the positioning of the tire in relation to the fender is mostly angular. i too have the m3 suspension parts and the same front wheels, though i'm using an even wider 255 (star spec), and need a 5mm spacer. rolled and pulled front fenders, no rubbing. ironically i rub a tiny in the rear with 18x9.5 et57 (62mm - 5mm spacer) and 265 star specs.

there's room for more camber, and with my rolled and pulled fenders, i suspect i could fit a 265 with more camber, though to justify that, it would have to be a slick (or at least something stickier than cheater streeters) that can be appropriately loaded at such high amounts of negative camber.
