Angel eye light choices?

I've done a forum search and it didn't satisfy my questions. I want to upgrade the halos to a whiter (5000-6000K) color. There are MANY choices on ebay and Amazon, but I've also read many bad reviews of some. I'm looking for some suggestions from forum members that are happy with their LED choice. What purchase would you recommend?

If you have facelifted headlights, V5's match the eyebrow perfectly.

I bought these and haven't had any issues http://m.ebay.com/itm/400532526854?nav=SEARCH
They are bright enough for the money and look great.

If u really want bright as hell angel eyes, get the LUX's.

Not looking for ultra bright. Just want to achieve the updated white color.

on '12 and '13 MY 1 series, the headlights were slightly different and had a sort of eyebrow-like LED bar added.

New (with eyebrow):

I would recommend LUX. They are a quality product and fantastic to deal with. The colour changing V5's will hit 5000 or 6000k in one package. Just set the colour you want and plug it in

Because of the flaw in the design of the earlier angel eyes, and the tendency for the outer ring to be lighter than the inner, those LEDs aren't overbearingly bright. They're actually hardly visible in direct sunlight. Though they look amazing at night and match the xenons quite well. I've had that same set linked for over a year with no problems.

I wouldn't necessary call it a flaw. They're clearly designed for the smaller, inner rings to function like a flash light lens and the larger, outer rings to have the appearance of a tube of light. No matter what, the inner ring will always be brighter, no regardless of what brand you buy. Spending $200 just gets you more brightness and perhaps slightly higher quality resistors than $70.

I installed a set of Weisslicht bulbs from Bavarian Auto for $135. I love the color, but the outer rings are definitely not as bright as the inner rings and difficult to see in daylight. At night though, they look fabulous.

See YouTube marketing video...
