Washed & waxed crimson
First time since getting the car in October that I finally managed to finish washing it in daylight and take some pictures! Really liking crimson red, especially when it's clean and the sun is shining

Envious that you can get a 135i without the moonroof outside the U.S.

Beautiful car... I too will be ordering a CR 135i with M-Sport pkg and no sunroof next month. Great to see what my future car will look like (except for the steering wheel being on the wrong side...)!!!
Enjoy it!! |

Thanks for all the positive comments! It sounds like Crimson Red is as rare in the US as it is over here. I haven't seen another CR 135i yet, not on the road or on sale. This made me quite nervous about buying the car initially - I almost went for TiAg with CR/black leather or the classic black on black as they're certainly more popular choices.
However, I'm glad I went for crimson. It looks fantastic when it's clean and is a great antidote to the vile, grey British weather that we have for 51 weeks a year. |

I should also add that it's only because of this site - and the crimson red coupe thread specifically - that I was convinced to buy crimson red. If it wasn't for the people here posting their pics and comments, I wouldn't have appreciated what a great colour it is in the 'real world' (press pics just don't do it justice).
So thanks to all fellow CR owners for sharing your cars on here! |
