Coding turn signals as daytime runing lights
Hello.
I'm coding a friends car and he ask me if I can code his amber front turn signals to be always on as long as we turn key on. We are from Europe, Portugal. His headlights have no xenon, just halogen. I can turn on DRL on his car with position lights or with dimmed high beams but cannot yet turn on what he wants. Do you on Canada use sidemarkers as we want? Can some one post here your frm2 trc file so I can see if I'm making something wrong? Thanks in advance |

I believe the turn signals cannot be coded for DRL's. I have halogen also and my DRL's are the inside lights in the headlight unit. Altho I'm in Canada, my car was originally a USA car.

According to my owners manual, no. Parking lamps are only on when headlight switch is in position 1. HOWEVER, when I just tried it, my parking lights are on all the time except with switch in off position.
