Benefits of BMWCCA?

Hey guys, so I just became a member of BMWCCA and I want to take advantage of any benefits. I know there are autocrosses and track days (what I'm most interested in), is there a list or something of all the events??? I am in the bay area, Rohnert Park if there are any bmw guys on this board from here.

Look up your chapter website and you should see a list of events there. If you don't know the URL, check the bmwcca.org website and it will list all the chapters and their chapter websites.

I agree.. to max out your benefits you need to join a local chapter..

I got two $500 rebates for buying new cars and won a 325iS in a BMWCCA raffle. Those are really great benefits.

Yup, pays for itself. Some dealers will also give you discount on parts when you show your card, mine does 10% I think.

My local dealer gives CCA members 20% discount on parts and labor...not a bad benefit. But more to the point - join a chapter and get involved with their activities. I believe the OP's original inquiry was about events. Also, if you look at the national website (bmwcca.org), they have a list of major events such as Octoberfest, which takes place next month in Birmingham, AL.

The Golden Gate Chapter (BMWCCA GGC) website has all the info you need.
http://www.ggcbmwcca.org/

Autocrosses are held April through October, and are usually either in Marina (at the airport) or in Santa Clara at the Great America overflow lot (although not sure how much longer they'll be able to use that lot).

Yup. In the '92 Oktoberfest raffle with a $25 ticket. After taxes it turned out to be about 1/2 of MSRP which was still a great deal. I drove the '93 325iS for 16 years and traded it in on a '09 128i.

We have a monthly dinner and mountian drives and other driving event opportunities. I also saved a lot when I did the 2 day M school last year.

You are correct, I am mostly interested in events, autocrosses, track days etc. But it is nice to hear about things like saving at the dealer etc. as well. The chapter thing is definitely what I was looking for. Thanks!!!
