Rear Parcel Shelf Speakers
I managed to get on to some L7 speakers, which I've added to my existing system (Alpine upgrade etc). I know there's lots of opinions on the rears, but I have them, so I might as well install.
I'm trying to figure out how the connector unclips from the rear speaker. The under seat woofers clipped out no problems, but these seem stuck in there. Tried using some persuasion, but I started to hear the plastic crack, so thought I should stop. The videos I've looked suggest to me that it just slides off..? Anyone taken the rears out? Is there a trick I'm missing..?? Last edited by Liam; 01-19-2016 at 01:13 PM.. |

I've removed and installed rear parcel shelf speakers. It was quite a while ago so I can't remember exactly how I did it but I don't remember it being that hard. Pretty sure the connection is just the same as the front door panel speakers. Usually just a matter of squeezing hard and then pulling hard and hoping for the best lol.

don't pull on the wires, use a pair of needle nose pliers and pull on the plug. It will come free.

Wow.... sorry to see that. Looks as if it was that hard to get out that the plastic just tore in half, probably something was wrong with it in the first place.
