Question LUX AE's

So I installed today the LUX AE's in my wife's 135i vert and the driver's side inner ring seems to be a bit brighter than the inner ring of the passenger's side. I switched the LUX from one side to the other but still the same (driver's side inner ring brighter). I recently installed a pair in my E90 M3 and both sides brightness is exactly the same. Am I missing something? There's only one way that they go in, right? Any thoughts?

maybe the one that is not as bright was not installed properly (I know you swap them around but you have may have stuff up the installation twice).

Yeah, I was thinking the same. Looking at the LUX's website install intructions I see in their pictures on the passenger's side that the blue cable is in the outer position, and I installed it with the blue cable in the inner position. I thought they only can be installed in just one position despite having the three tabs. Oh well, I'm gonna wait till my hands are better from all the cuts. Thanks!

I feel your pain changing Angel Eyes is one of the most annoying experience, you seriously need hands as small as a baby!

I hear you both on that. They really should make the headlight assemblies easier to get into, but then again that would entitle us to "mod" our headlights with more ease

Sounds like its a user error. Try going through it again and make sure the cables are all in the right positions.
