Vasoo.. Flared 135i Build Thread
CAR IS FOR SALE!! http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1242733
How She sits now IMG_5893 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr Hey everyone, Im justin and this is my Flared 135i, just taking you through my build and giving you a look at my previous car as well. Going to get a photo shoot soon so let me know if you guys actually want to see some better quality photography of the car. Current Mods: Enging: JB4 G4 BMS DCI BERK race Exhaust (Muffler Delete) VRSF Donwpipes VRSF Fmic Cosmetic: Ambit RE08.3 LCI Blackline Taillights Ebay Front Lip BMW carbon rear Spoiler Carbon Mirror Caps The e46 IMG_2108 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr So I sold that and put money down on a 2008 135i Black with Imola Red interior. It already had VMR'S Carbon fiber rear spoiler and 20% tint all around( Re-tinted due to peeling from sun) Swift springs with Macpherson struts IMG_4688 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr around christmas time my amazing girlfriend surprised me with a front lip! Which has done me amazing and I love. IMG_4883 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr IMG_4884 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr IMG_3897 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr I also Ordered LaminX taillight tint while I was waiting to save up for Blacklines. IMG_3780 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr At this point I felt like I needed way more, I took a chance with Ambit Wheels and they gave me a great deal on some RE08.3's that were +15 that I had on for one day , even after I got my fenders rolled and pulled, still way to wide for stock body. Here are pictures from the test fit. IMG_5267 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr IMG_5268 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr IMG_5270 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr IMG_5273 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr IMG_5275 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr Then Had them on like this for less than 24hrs before I needed to put my old wheels back on due to rubbing front and back. IMG_5387 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr After sitting and thinking of possible options, I decided to just go ahead and measure out a pair of zg flares for a 280z and the measurements came out pretty spot on. Order went in for those. IMG_5520 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr TEST FIT IMG_5521 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr IMG_5522 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr IMG_5523 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr After all the hassle of getting my wheels sorted out, and getting the fender flares installed (which took way longer then expected) This is how she sits currently with new LCI Blacklines AS well IMG_5852 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr IMG_5864 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr IMG_5877 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr IMG_5878 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr IMG_5893 by Justin Vasu, on Flickr Thanks for taking a look. Future plans include. Paint or Wrap N55 Mid pipes Front and rear sways I dont know, random stuff that will cost more money! Last edited by JkingV; 03-28-2016 at 11:07 PM.. |

Nope. I didn't do any extra cutting or anything. Obviously they aren't meant for the car so the line on the fender at some points isn't perfect. I am ordering some stripping to go under in addition to new hardware just to clean it up. Other than that, it looks super good just bolt on. Thanks so much man, I appreciate it

Interesting. Glad there are more options for bolted flares, as I know quite a few are looking for this sort of thing. Would you mind taking a shot or two from the front end?

Interesting, I was actually looking at ZG flares this weekend wondering if they would fit up front on our cars. Where in SoCal are you?

very nice man. just a thought, would you consider cutting the flare at the fender bumper connection. only reason i see is the issue of removing the bumper. same deal with the back. Very nice tho. Kudos for the successful attempt. MOAR PIX PLEEZE!!!
