Will the 128i Performance Exhaust fit the 130i?
Guys,
Here's my story. I live in Guatemala, I have an E87 four door hatchback 130i and I want the BMW Performance Exhaust, but the thing is that I'm not able to find it at a reasonable price. My local BMW dealer quoted it in US$1,500 which for me is doesn't make sense. So, I've been doing some online research about the BMWP Exhaust for the 128i coupe (which I can find online from US$750 ) and comparing the pictures, what I see is basically that the exhaust tips for the 128i are longer and the hanging bases are more towards the bumper, compared to the 130i which has shorter exhaust tips and the bases more close to the exhaust structure. Do you think that with some modifications to the hanging bases and the tips, I would be able to install the 128i BMWP Exhaust on my hatchback? Here are two pics for you to compare them: Many many thanks for your comments!! |

I think so. But its a lot of modification on the Left side.
Maybe consider a cheaper exhaust like Maganflow or the soon to be released AA exhaust to justify extra costs for modification

I have a great exhaust shop in my country, I really hope that they can manage to modify it just like they did with the Magnaflow. I guess I will have to go there, try and show them the pictures and see what they think |

Only the hanger points look different and i'm sure those can be cut off and welded on in the correct positions. it shouldn't be a problem for any competent exhaust shop.

I'm pretty sure they ship worldwide. 740 USD according to the current rate.

I found the 128i BMWP exhaust for $750 with a known provider in the USA + free shipping (within the US), I have an address in Miami and from there a company can re-ship it to my country |

In that case I like my 135i mufffler on a catlesss and no resonator pipe. Go for what you can find 128i PE or 135i take off muffler
