You can bet it is Montego. No M-Sport body kit, no Le Mans blue. Moreover, now that I have seen a Le Mans blue 135i with my own eyes I have to say that it results much more easy for me to distinguish both colours.

Yes that's why I said Montego as you can't get Le Mans without M-pkg.
How is it Le Mans blue as opposed to Montego? I have only seen MOntego in real life, but not Le Mans.

Can you elaborate a bit? I have yet to see a good side by side shot of the two blues - how are they different?

Le Mans is darker, and while Montego sometimes, depending on lighting conditions, looks something like purple (like in a cloudy day, for example), Le Mans looks always blue.

That's the reason that makes me to don't like Montego. Sometimes it looks like a deep blue (very cool, IMO), other times is looks like a light blue but other times it looks purple...

In this pic you can see how light is Montego blue (although in this pic you cannot appreciate the purple reflections):

You can see how Le Mans looks in this post of "Croatian test driver":

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...5&postcount=70

I have never saw a Le Mans blue BMW side by side to a Montego blue one, but if someday I have the opportunity to park my 135i close to one in Montego I could take a pic with my cell's camera. In any case, it is always better to see a car with your own eyes, because I prefer Le Mans, but you might not and you will not be sure about that until you can see it by yourself.

Ask and you shall receive... this is from E90post, and the E90 is LeMans. More photos can be found on the original thread.

I'd say it looks pretty good from that angle; even has the 264's it looks like!

Montego is a "redder" blue, giving it an almost purplish effect. It's a brighter, candy blue.

LeMans is a bit more crisp and mature looking IMO. Has stronger green and yellow component to it. A more subtle blue. I'd take this one if it was between the two.

Thanks Dr No and Cracka - much appreciated. I agree that Le Mans looks richer, and seems to suit the car better - it's available up here too!

I can't understand why BMW makes 2 colours which are virtually identical. A load of old nuts if you ask me!!!
