iDrive screen on sleep mode?
Is this even possible? I only ask because I have very light sensitive eyes, and I can't even look at the nav screen on daytime mode in the night without being completely glared out.
Often I just leave it on the radio function as I find that screen to be the darkest while driving, and the least distracting. All I want to know is if it's possible to have the screen "turn off" in my 2012 BMW 135i.

On the main screen just hit the "option" button next to the idrive knob. Should be an option there to turn off the screen.

From any iDrive screen go right and you'll get a pop-out menu. "Switch off control display" will turn the screen off.

What's a shame is I can't use a preset for display dim and display bright and don't get me started on why it doesn't auto shift between day and night. |
