No problem to do this. In general high performance fluid should be changed once per year whether you are tracking or not. Castrol SRF is supposed to last longer than other comparable products, as it doesn't absorb moisture as quickly.
Castrol say the SRF is miscible with regular Dot4 fluids, but from what I've seen there may be issues if the old fluid is not adequately flushed out. My sample size is small though. Last edited by John_01; 03-02-2016 at 11:04 PM.. |

+1 on the track insurance, if you can afford a track day then you can afford the extra bit for the track insurance....ask me how I know. I bit it at Road America 4 years ago. I wasn't even driving hard, because the damp track. Thankfully, my insurance covered it. I won't run without track insurance now.
