Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's here. I don't drive in the rain or snow, but I want acceptable grip when time temps fall into the 40's and 30's here in North Carolina.

I ended up getting the Michelin PSS (summer) and I m quite happy with them. Highly recommended over the stock run flats

Do the Michelin PSS tires improve any of the road noise over the stock run-flats?

I also have a 2013 135i M-Sport and want a tire that might actually be better in all these categories than stock: performance, ride, and noise.

Resurrecting an old thread here...for Michelin PSS, do you folks recommend a certain size? I have stock M-Sport wheels on my '13 135i vert.

I run 225/40/18 - 255/35/18 during summer. Stock wheels and height, no rubbing.

Great! It seems that no one has any issues with rubbing when sizing one up on the tires from stock, yeah?

I just tried to order one up from stock sizing in Michelin PSS on Tirerack.com. It gave me a message during checkout: "Rear aggressive fitment! This will require fender lip and liner modification to fit without rubbing!".

Is that incorrect? Keep in mind I have a 2013 135i vert, so I'm wondering if there's something different with the size of the wheel wells compared to the coupe.

So, can anyone chime in on this so I can get some verification if I can in fact run 225/40 18 in front and 255/35 18 in the rear in my convertible?

I ripped the RFTs off and sold them for $500.

I put on the Michelin A/S 3 tires. I'm very satisfied with them. When I get my BBS CH-R wheels, I'll get the Michelin PSS tires.

To add, 215/40/18 front and 245/35/18 rear. The stock size is just fine and only Michelin had the front size.
