Help Needed! 130i Ring and Pinion

Hi All,

I have a 130i manual with a damaged differential ring and pinion.

Ratio is 3.46:1.

I know it's a longshot, but would anyone have or know any contacts who would be selling a 130i differential (or just the ring and pinion 3.46:1).

Any help/contacts/options appreciated!

Do you know if the ring and pinion on the 130i manual is the same as the ring and pinion on the 135i auto? It shares the same final drive ratio.

Ive had a Quaife LSD swap, but i believe i only have the core spare, i assume the ring and pinion are the bits that are reused right?

Hi Quasio, yes that's correct - the crown wheel and pinion are reused (original part). I have a lead in the UK now which looks promising. Thanks guys.
