N55 JB4 ISO E85 Dyno!

Hey guys,

Just saw this dyno test of the new N55 ISO software posted. Solid numbers considering there is no meth on the car. Just around a 60/40 mix of E85 and 91 octane.

Crazy. Wish E85 was more widely available, if it was I'd just take off/sell my meth kit.

There are plenty I assure you, especially with a 60% mixture when tuned properly.

A guy on e90post is making 505wtq on stock turbos on 100% e85 fbo with the procede. I'll see if I can find his dyno for you

Remember, max torque and max horsepower mean absolutely nothing. You can make an engine that makes 600 horsepower and still gets destroyed by a 400 horsepower car of the same weight. The area under the curve is whats important, not just peak numbers.

ya A guy... that could be due to a blip on the dyno plot or just cause he used a different type of dyno.

100% e85 isnt the same as the n55 dyno posted here.

I guess you didnt really read my post, I said a n54 with same mods FBO and e85 cant make the 480wtq the n55 did.

Find a dyno from terry, n54 FBO on e85 and see how much wtq its putting down.

ya we understand that, my point was that based off this n55 dyno, its making more WTQ than a n54 with same mods/fuel.

I have a friend here in Germany, he shipped his car already (JK135i) but will be dynoing his car back in the states. This is straight from his post here:

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=768550

On that same day I made 410Whp/478WTQ, FBO+Meth, no E85

JK135i: "I put down 443 HP and 512 TQ. David guessed 443 HP prior to my car getting dynoed, pretty damn good guess. I'll be dynoing the car when I get home so I can see what the difference is being back stateside.

I was running 30% E85 on this run. For those that has the tune to run E85, do it!"

over 500wtq on a 50/50 mix fbo is achievable with a JB4 G5 ISO and flash. Again, I will try searching a dyno for you.

An off topic question but how many N55's have even broken 500wtq?

I have a 2009 135 auto. I have not Dynoed mine but will be doing it soon but I HAVE TO THINK that my car is making about as much torque as the stated 458 ft lbs for this N55. I am FBO with the exception of stock midpipes.
I took my car to the 1/4 mile track and it ran incredible on a E85 mix of 40/60%. With an average 60ft time of 1.94 secs, my car ran 11.76 at 120 mph. So these results may be acurate. Dinan State 2 claims about 420 ft lbs and I had it installed in my car for about 8 months and upon changing to COBB, the amount of pull that it had in comparison to Dinan was unbelieable. Don't discount numbers in the mid 400s for torque using E85 mix on a FBO N54.
