Slammed.

Okay not really. It's been a while since I put KWs onto my car, and thought it would be nice to show some before and after shots. Drop is approx 30mm front and 25mm back.

I have since had 2 track days with them and I can't praise the improvement enough compared to M-sport. Ride quality has only been marginally affected but the fact that I swapped to non-RFTs may also be a contributing factor. Very worthwhile mod.

EDIT: First photo is STOCK, the other ones with KWs.

I'm broke from Europe and I need new tyre lol. No DP for a while, plus waiting for another Perthie to get it first so I won't be a guinea pig with installation (in regards to the shop) hahaa

Nice

I've been in RaihaX's car and I can't believe how much they transform the ride experience.

Now should I give up some rims for coil overs instead?

You can't feel or see your rims when you are inside the car (which is MOST of the time). Definitely go coils first which actually change how the car handles.

Tyres transform the car again! Can actually get power down on full throttle as opposed to the crappy RFTs

Yeah, but my 261 are in awful condition, to the point where brake dust won't come off and Coils costs alot more than rims.

Unless I get them powder coated, with some new PSS and DP then its money well spent? Haha.

Looks good, can I just ask, how much adjustment is left in them to go lower if you wanted to? and do you have the supplied spring seat/cup fitted or removed in the rear?

I don't think you would want to go lower due to issues with wheel clearance. I do believe there is some adjustment left though, maybe 10mm.

To my knowledge, everything supplied was fitted.

yeah gathered that, even on 261's would you have any interference at that height with your inner liner or guard lip? The offset of the stock wheel shouldnt allow for that but just thought I'd ask.

There's no scrubbing issues whatsoever, even with a fully loaded car. I was a bit surprised at that but hey, everything seems to work quite well together.

Issues with the guards usually crop up on track days but I've done one with my KWs at the current height and again, no issues even when charging over ripple strips at full noise.

Well designed guards then by the sound of it
I'm a different position, the rear wheels on my car are 25mm outside the line of the stock position, so even with the guards rolled it will all change, If I go low enough, the shape of the wheel well will probably mean contact in the liner somewhere, you cant have it all your way though!

Seems to be the case. I haven't heard of anyone switching to KWs to have scrubbing issues.

What wheels do you have on?

Ah I see, mate that's a tight fit but looks good! Not sure how coilovers will do to that.

Yeah i know, as the car is lowered the nature of the control arms means it cambers in, which helps...but not enough I think!
