My 325i Finally Arrived

We picked it up last Wednesday. I have since added all the chrome trims. That was a great improvement. I will add that I had buyer remorse for the first 24 hour because of the color. My two color choices were silver and arctic. After having the car out for a drive yesterday, I can honestly tell myself this color is great, and it’s not because everyone comments on how they like the color. What a relief. It is truly unique and you just don’t see it on any other car. Secondly I was concerned with the 17” wheels. I really like the 18” wheel, but after seeing the 17” wheels up close I am super happy with my decision. They fill out the wheel wells nicely, and with a larger side wall will give more protection for the rims. Those being my only two major concerns, and I am truly happy with my decision.

Congrats on the new car. I think the Artic is a cool color as well. Very clean looking.

I think the 161 wheels you got are the nicest of all the BMW OEM wheels available! Love the color too!! That was my 2nd choice after black! Great looking car!

The first time I saw a E90 was at an autoshow and it was the Arctic color! Looked great!!!

Welcome and congratulations!! Arctic is a beautiful color, and you will learn to appreciate the subtle and not-so-subtle changes it takes in different light.

I used to live in Grand Forks... how far are you from there? One thing's for sure, on those flat roads you will get excellent highway mileage!

I know!! When I ordered it I was told 11-12 weeks ... that was painfull!! Now that about 8 weeks have passed and only about 3 weeks or so left I feel a lot calmer ... and at the same time more excited!

Thanks for all your kind replies. I will start by saying that this is my wife’s car, and she thinks I am a Sick Puppy because I am on this Forum a lot of the time. That should answer ashecnc question as to which one I am in the picture. I agree with one3. The 161 wheel is the nicest looking wheel. They look great as the wheel turns slowly. As for LEDZEP, I have been reading your post about the colors and it gave me hope during my wait. Wahpeton, is 2 hour South of Grand Forks on I29, but only 40 minutes South of Fargo. I did install the chrome trims myself mmeads. The trims were in my garage for the last 4 weeks as I waited for the car to arrive. Yes, tweak48 I did get the CW Package. It is cold in ND.

beautiful car and excellent colour choice, since i got mine in arctic i just have no regrets about the colour, and if i had to buy an e90 again i would go for actic again
