Best fitment BMW Carbon Fiber Spoiler replica?

Hi,

Im sure this has been covered but my searches keep leading me to dead ends. I was just wondering if there is a consensus on which BMW carbon fiber spoiler replica has the best quality/fitment. Thanks in advance!

mines from ebay. fitment is pretty good 10/10??? not really sure how the authentic bwm one sits thou

Highly recommend, fit is 10/10. My friends and family are always surprised how nice it looks and ask if it came with the car when I purchased it.

I can snap some pictures for you but the car is pretty dirty right now.

The eBay carbon fiber performance spoilers are nice and the fitment is pretty good but the UV clear coat WILL degrade after time, especially in the HOT Arizona sun. Ask me how I know. It started to flake off and peel on mine. Gotta get it refurbished or painted over now.

Are the trunk mounting areas the same as on an E88 convertible?

Giving them a regular coat of wax should help protect them. I had an eBay carbon fibre diffuser on my old E39 for over 5 years and never had any issues with discolouration or flaking.

They are just mounted with double-sided tape. There are no bolts or plugs if that's what you are referring to by "mounting areas".

I'm not sure if the boot is the same width on the E88 as it is on the E82 but I would imagine it should fit.
