:: ECS Tuning :: The FK Wheel Tree|Safe, Stackable Wheel Storage

Protect your wheel and tire investment with an FK Wheel Tree. Convenient and easy to assemble, the tree stacks summer wheels and tires to save valuable floor space. The ingenious design supports and separates your wheels to prevent face scratching and tire carcass stress caused when wheels are leaned against a wall for extended periods. Made from polished metal tubes with non-marring wheel separators, the wheel tree adjusts to fit a range of wheel and tire sizes. Complete kit includes hardware, wrench, and a cloth protective bag.

Nice idea but I noticed on your website that the tree only accommodates up to a 8" wheel. Is there another option for this, since even our stock wheels will not fit on it, or is the information on your website incorrect? I did notice the wheeled version fits wider wheels. Does it mirror the stand-alone version and is just misquoted?

The FK Wheel tree with Wheels is no longer available. The info on the site is based on FKs design of the product. That being said personally I've put larger than 8 inch wheel/tire combos on the tree.

How about two 9.5" and two 10.5" wheels?

I have something like this. In german they are sold everywhere. Even at the German grocery stores! lol It is called a: Reifenbaum or Reifen baum = "tire tree" in English.

I have use it for my 135i OE summer wheels. 8.5inch wheels fit just fine. I do stack my wheels: 7.5/8.5/7.5/8.5 I think I did try to stack the two rear wheels on top of each other... the sidewalls just barely touch. So 8.5's is about limit. But it would not be that hard to modify one of these tire trees.

I really like using one of these tire trees to store my wheels.

I'm in the process of bringing in some which will accommodate nice wide wheels (should fit up to a 11.5 inch wide wheel). I'll let everyone know when the bigger ones arrive.

We have the new FK Wheel Trees for wider wheels slated to be ready for sale at the end of November. Once I get a few in I'll toss a set of rather wide wheels on them to confirm the manufactures claim and report back.

Until then I'll just leave this LINK here to remind everyone they are coming. Also to help keep everyone informed the "On Order ETA" in green on the product page will update if anything changes.

Have you had a chance to confirm their claims of fitting up to 11.5" wheels?

Yes we have! The wheels in the below photo are some of our spares for the E90 M3, they are 20x10.5 rears, and the fronts are 20x9, they are the widest wheels with tires we have not in use on one of our cars currently. They fit with no problems.
