Air bubble in dashboard

I got a decent size air bubble on my dashboard. Assuming that its unable to be repaired, does anyone have any idea how much a dashboard might cost me? Where can i get my hands on one?? Thanks!

I had the same thing. Dash was replaced by BMW just before expiration of warranty. No good ideas about where to get a used one, sorry...

Are you still under warranty? If not then make some calls to some junkyards. I would start there

yea still under warranty, but i caused the bubble when i used one of those sticky navigation mats on the dashboard. I guess the heat from the sun caused the bubble to form underneath the vinyl. You dont suppose the warranty would cover it?

do you have a pic? Assuming you are referring to passenger air bag area?

assuming its not the passenger air bag bubble that is common, this is what my car had

Www.car-part.com is where I usually start. I love used parts, and while it can be a gamble, most good recyclers offer short warranties and accept returns.

Just got the car a month ago, 2009 135i black on black M sport (22,000 miles) with 4 months left on warranty. While detailing it - noticed some slight bubbles in the dash so I took it to the dealership (amoungst a couple of other issues - squeaky armrest and engine noise).

Dealership stated they will cover the new dashboard - they had to ship a new part from Germany. Dealership stated they will cover the part/replacement only once.

By the way - Tom Williams BMW in Birmingham Alabama has great service!! Gave me a 2011 335is convertible for a loaner. Have had it almost 2 weeks - as they let me have the loaner while the dash was in route from Germany.

They also have gloss black grille's for $65 and gave a deal on installation - my first Mod!!!

Can't wait to get it back...
