These are being actively discussed on the E90POST 335i section. Too lazy to get the link...

"It is best to clean your down pipe with 00 size steel wool on a monthly basis. This steel wool is available from any hardware store."

WTF is that?

People love to bash.

On the E90 forums, 100s of posts bash the product yet only two people bought them and none had them installed yet.

My advice, wait and see. As for cleaning the pipes with steel wool, who cares...

HAHAHAHAHAHA

Mina - nice to meet a fellow cheapass...

Get this - some guy on a forum was complaining the lower price of 135i's when it came out would lessen the status he has as a 335i owner and for that reason he would sell his 3 series. Nice very nice. Viagra may help here in my opinion.

As for the guy saying that he would not buy dp's for less than 4k he was joking since he said send all order info to douchebaggery@hotmail.com and the steel wool is to clean the outside to keep them shiny (which is still a mystery to me as to why anyone would take the time to keep their exhaust clean) but time will tell. As long as fitment is not horrible I say it is a great alternative for those who do not plan to get a turbo upgrade and just want a little more power and sound.
Just my $.02

No, I mean is that cleaning the inside or outside? I don't know anything about these pipes, but it seems like it would be very inconvenient to have to remove these once a month to clean the insides.
