after reading a long time here in this forum now its my turn to present you guys my baby bimmer.
First to me, my name is Christian and i'm from Germany. Nearly 3 years ago i get my first BMW. Till now many things changed on my car.

Now to my vehicle

State when i buy the car:

did you put shark fin antenna of X3 and not 3er Touring? Did it fit "PnP"?
Congratz for the car, i liked the fit black n gold but interior doesnt excite me, would be better in carbon fiber or wrap IMO

i dont take the whole antenna, just the empty housing for roof antenna, and put it on top of the original antenna board. thers an instruction in the german 1series forum for this, its much cheaper than the whole antenna, but looks and works even so good.

Ye i meant only the cover or the shark fin and not the whole antenna, cable etc...
But did it fit good? I know about 3er E90 touring shark fin was good for E81/7...didnt know about X3...which model exactly? Ex?

thats only the cover from the x3 e83. part number 65 20 3 411 502 in her german forum nearly everybody, who changed the antenna got it from the x3, cause the cove of the roof fits better.
you have to tool it like this and put it in top with a bit tape over thes

done in about half an hour...
