@Venom - I have a feeling your shop left the headlight washer units in your pumper. The washer units are the only thing that could be applying pressure to the underside of your bumper like that. without them there is nothing there. |

Edit: Coffee reminds me that it was actually done before the drive down. Sigh... an OEM BMW shop did it wrong lmao Last edited by Venom; 08-01-2014 at 12:14 PM.. |

Is anybody out there going all the way to the point of doing the hardtop/sunroof delete?
I have a hardtop headliner still in the bag from when we were going to do it while it was still Sport class, but then they changed the rules where you could gut the interior, so we never used it.

I believe we were able to get our rear window out without breaking it when we did the swap on the race car. Unfortunately, at the time, the 1M wasn't out yet, so we went tin top.

For a race car, I wouldnt worry about it as much and probably would have just glued it on and not worried about it but with a street driven car that goes in the rain and after all the costs of the headliner, CF roof, labor etc, it didnt make sense to skimp on the rear glass. A CF roof will only shed 12-14lbs max from your slicktop. |

Also Note, OEM black headliner, A,B,C, pillars, Rear dome light, visors, airbag/screw covers come out to ~$600. If you are oK keeping your grey upper interior, you can simply get the headliner and the rear dome light. |

Not so fun fact: the price to do the front-end is up 60% since this list was made! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing -m

Yea I’m doing this now as well. Parts are all readily available but they’re indeed more expensive. I hit up ECS and they discounted everything pretty well for me due to the order size. Plus I made a fair bit back selling all the oem 135i parts so not too bad in the end but I’m also saving money by eliminating some items. Deleting the windshield washers so no reservoir. The battery tray is ridiculously expensive so I’m just gonna go to a 17lb braille and make a carbon battery tray to fit it exactly which will cost close to nothing and save a little weight. But…mine is a weekend and nice weather only car so I can get away with these things.
