Wait!! It's MY Car!

Just a matter of keeping this forum alive

Funnily enough yesterday I've spotted a car that is a RARE JDM Toyota Caldina GT-T but then I realise it's not another car, it's MY CAR 4 years back with the exact same plates. I was tempted to put a note on the windscreen "Do you want to sell it?" But I thought nah it's too old already

It's interesting sometimes you see your old car and realise it has change, can be bumper front or rear or even just new wheels or even added racing stripe or Worst still when the car was showroom condition when you sold, it then had a big hole in the bumper!(Like my mates VW GTI )

How many of you actually have bump into your own car? and what was the condition like?

I sold my Merc diesel before coming to Australia and when I was back for a visit I aw it... they had run into something and had the entire hood torn up. Sad.. I drove that car as my DD for 18 years and it was in showroom condition. Looks like they hadn't even washed it once since I sold it to them

I still run into my Celica 2ZZGE sometimes. Still miss the high pitch whine of 9000rpm with TRD zorst and CAI in that thing.

I use to own (late 90's) an '88 TX3 which was fairly modded. I sold it to a mate who looked after it for 3 years and he passed it on. I saw it a few years later at the local Cash Converters and it had its limo tint stripped (black car), it was no longer lowered and it had a stock looking exhaust on it (3" before). he must have gotten a yellow in it.

It looked absolutely terrible, I cried a little inside

Garage List
When I purchased my very first 1er, a 135i. I traded in a Mercedes GLK 350. Several months later, I went back to the same dealer to pick up a X3 I had purchased and there it was, my Mercedes GLK 350 being sold, keys and all being handed to a nice young lady. I just had to walk over, introduce my self and tell her that her new truck was well cared for and loved.
