To buy or not to buy

My dealer offered me to buy an Ontarian Lemans Blue 2008 135i with M Sport, Harman Kardon Stereo, Nav and Luxury for 33,500$ CAD. The car has 73K km and they'll CPO it untill June 2015. Is it a good deal? Should I be concerned about the high mileage? Please give me your thoughts.

The car is dirty but they give me new tires, new brakes and a complete detail of the car.

It's maybe $2k over what you would pay from a private sale, but if you like the car (color/options/condition), it's a great deal. I mean, you'll get new tires, brakes and most of all, extended warranty. That's cool!

I would probably just ask them to fill the front bumper holes and repaint. That's like a $400 job for them and the car will look 10x better without a front plate holder.

How's that high? - probably about right for an 2008 with normal driving.

Looks at the classifieds - I only found one for cheaper at $30k but you could tell it was modded and probably driven hard.

I find the mileage high because I own a 2008 civic Si that I bought new and the odo is just around 45K Km. I'd want my next car to be fairly around that or less.

Anyway, the dealer gave me until 15h00 to take a decision and I passed. I still have to sell my car first and I didn't like the fact that I was pushed to take a decision quickly.

I guess I'll wait for a low mileage 2009 or 2010 with M sport to pop. I test drove one and I'm in love! btw, great forum guys

Well, this is the car you are looking for: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=605448

Very well maintained, the car is literally brand new (I detailed it last summer and can vouch for that).

Very good price for a 2009 with such low mileage.

Wow thanks! I think I saw it on Lespac.com a few months ago. Very interesting offer.
