Brake Fluid Flush?

My 1M is at 25000km, my dealer recommends me to do this brake fluid flush. Is this necessary or is this just a money grab? Thanks for your input.

It is necessary. Especially if your car ever see's a track. In the USA BMW says once every other year. Over here in Germany... BMW AG says once a year to change and flush the system. That ABS/DSC valve body ain't cheap! Change your brake fluid.

I flush my brake fluid annually.

Mileage is less important than time, as brake fluid is hydroscopic (absorbs moisture). Over time, this will lead to a "soft" pedal and degrade braking performance.

Yes annually for top performance. Every two year minimum!

I was a mechanic at a BMW for a very long time and for best performance every two years unless your tracking the car regularly then I would flush if more often.
