I'm not gonna blow up my car using race gas, right?

I'm sure there's no way this could happen, but I just want to be sure. I'm not that informed on the power limits on the N55 and the DCT.

If I run a JB4 stage 2 on map 5 (possibly 7) with an AR catless downpipe, and throw 100 octane in the car, there shouldn't be any problems, right? I'm not gonna rip apart the DCT? Are there any long-term effects on using 100 octane maybe once every other month?

This is the 100 octane fuel I was thinking of, for reference: http://www.vpracingfuels.com/page535437.html

Thanks in advance.

Just skip the race gas and put some jet fuel in it!

For serious though, no, you'll be fine.

LOL @ top tier gas comment. Make sure it's actually 93 octane and doesn't have sand in it and you're pretty much good. Goes pretty much unsaid that you shouldn't buy your gas from Dirty Sanchez siphoning gas out of a wreck on the side of the highway.

On a side note, I love Costco gas prices. I get 93 for virtually the same price as 87 around here.

You mad bro? :P

Perhaps it's different in the US, but in Canada putting anything but Shell, Esso, Petrocan or Chevron in your car is NOT recommended at all.

Could be true...but I don't know what the gas is in the different areas. East coast gas is decent....I use Shell often as well, but didn't want to mix 100 octane from Sunoco with 93 Shell, etc. Shell doesn't have anything higher over here; I have to drive to a different city to get the 100 octane (5 gallons), it was $64 .

There is a difference in the detergent packages companies put in their gas, but Sunoco is an established brand, I'd have absolutely no concerns about putting 93 pump from one of its stations in my car.

Just to put it on the table, Ultramar makes great 91 octane, and they do NOT use any ethanol in it
