So do these require wires to be ran outside of the headlight housing like the HID kits? It doesn't seem like it but just want to make sure.

NOPE! V3's have everything housed inside the housing, i just helped out my friend install a V3 kit on his LCI 335i and they look so good even during the day. I'm thinking about getting the V3 amber kit
