Question Is the manual case leather or plastic look alike leather?

Just wondering if the manual case, the one that BMW gives you to store your manuals...is this genuine leather or look a like leather? It feels like look alike a leather, but I could be wrong.

Just wondering if I should use either the BMW leather or BMW plastic/vinyl treatment to treat it...it's a bit dusty.

Thanks.

I think it is leather; but not too sure!

You'll need a full cut and polish for cleaning a dusty manual holder. But first claybar, as you want to start with the smoothest surface possible. Remember, it's all in the preparation.

Yeah. So didi I. But he said he wouldn't throw in the leather case unless I got paint and leather protection to help keep those books safe.
