my clutch has been slipping alot Latley and I will be changing my spec stg2+ clutch & flywheel combo in exactly 8 days at my mechanic shop. today I notice for the first time the nasty burnt smell of my clutch alot .

My question is since i drive it every day will my clutch make it in time to change it in 8days since i just started to smell the the clutch ?

What's up Socrates.. Try to stay off the power if you can. In other words, drive it like yaya and don't ask it to hold too much of the power for too much of the time. Clutches can disintegrate and there's little rhyme or reason as to when one will actually completely take a dump and not apply any friction at all. If you can avoid driving it totally that's obviously the best option, but maybe dial the boost back down with the CObb until you can get it into the shop for the repair. The less pedal pressure you're using the better.

No I'm still on my stock clutch 60,000 miles and going to change it in 8 days with spec2+ and ssmf . just wondering if I would make it in time in 8 days since it's smelling

Ok good because I have a spec 2+ and was going to be worried if yours went out, it's a good clutch from what I can see

Detune it and drive it easy.

Not sure How everyone's clutch wears our so fast. My car had been Fbo since 30k and I'm still on the factory clutch at 98k with no slipping yet.

what map are you on ? i also autocross maybe that makes it wear more

Stage 2+ for last 60k miles
