Membership Rewards for 1 Series Has Begun!!
http://www.bmwcca.org/forum/showpost...02&postcount=1
Good news for those who waited for the new year to buy a BMW: As of January 1, the BMW X6 and the 1 Series have been added to the program. To qualify for a rebate, the vehicle must be purchased in 2009. That means a car you bought in 2008 is not eligible, even if you didn’t take delivery until 2009; the retail sales date of the vehicle must be 1/1/09 or later. The 1 Series is now eligible for a Membership Rewards rebate. Buyers of a new X6 are eligible for a $1,000 Membership Rewards rebate, while a CPO X6 is eligible for $500. A new 1 Series is eligible for a $500 Membership Rewards rebate; a CPO 1 Series is also eligible for $500. The BMW CCA is updating the Membership Rewards rebate form, as we are waiting to see whether the new diesels will be excluded or not. Meanwhile, if you are eligible for one of the new rebates, you may use the old form; just write in the correct model and rebate amount. EDIT: If rules change, official rules will be posted on the BMW CCA website and will supercede what is written above.

But everyone must understand, retail sales date must be after 1/1/2009. No ands, ifs or buts. The forms will take a bit to be updated.

I figure that I've gotten $500 worth enjoyment out of the car over the past 9 months though. I'd be really bummed out if I signed on 12/30 though! |

Ugh. Good luck. To tag onto Larry's comment, I know I've gotten $500 worth of enjoyment from my 135 as well.

I think the club offers a lot more than the rebate.

Thanks, but I decided not to bother asking. My CA is very cool, and I think I got a pretty killer deal - ended up being $217 over invoice w/ floor mats included... I think I'll just stomach the extra $250 I'd be spending (remember about the $250 '09 price increase)

it is what it is - you signed on the 30th - and for the record everyone one here knows too - maybe even the people who approve that dang form. there - I'm still your friend.. just tired of people playing the system.. for their own benefit..and in the end we all pay.. sorta like being a guy and paying high insurance because so many speed.. ya know.. (under 25) LOL

I have been a member of BMWCCA for quite some time and have had the great opportunity of taking advantage of the rebate on two of my five BMW's. I've always looked upon the rebates as gravy on top of my purchase an my membership.
It's nice anytime BMWNA & BMWCCA can team together to give back to our community. Adding benefits should never be deemed a negative. And I'd like to take the opportunity to remind our !ADDICTS members the Roundel magazine is worth ever penny of the membership dues. Disclaimer...no I am not affiliated in any way with BMWNA other than owning lots of their products; and, not with BMWCCA other than enjoying all the events/benefits I can:biggrin: Call

Nobody should get mad if they missed this deal, BMW did just up the prices as of 2009 and they also increased their financing rate. Some math mizard can compute the actual price difference, but I guess it will be minimal.

Looks like I just missed this. I signed up with BMWCCA on Feb 27,2008. Will take delivery sometime in the next few weeks. Oh well! It's worth thre 500 bucks to get it 1 month sooner!!
