Happy Birthday to ME
After nearly a year of researching and day dreaming about owning a 1 series,
I finally got what I wanted. She's prettier than I thought and all of the mods I had planned I am now second guessing myself in favour of keeping her stock. There's a certain purity about a well used car that looks and feels as it did the day it came off the line. even more impressive if it makes it to ten or 20 years in that shape. Before this car I could not drive stick. I had about 15 minutes of practice a year before hand and I managed to keep it going during the test drive since I new in theory how it worked. Bought it the next day and drove it off the lot. It took me two hours in traffic and a snack break to finally get it home. Anyone else keep a stock 1'er or will the mods eventually get to me? I wanted to do CSL 18''s in satin/matte black with PSS rubber, shadowline window trim, black grills, and 3 stage manifold. 09' 128i Black/Black 6MT Premium package + Sport Package + small factory extras. 50 000kms on the dial. Nice car Mine is stock and it will remain that way (been there, done that, old tinkerer no longer needing/wanting to tinker).
Well, OK... replace the clutch stop (BMS).

I've just got the BMW perf exhaust (you should too) and Michelin PSS. I would like to do the Whiteline RSFB's. Also a BMW SSK to go in this summer. Thats about all.

You're going to want at least the Performance Exhaust and the CF spoiler.

Hah, you won't last long.
Replace the clutch stop and get rid of the CDV, at least. If I had a 128i, I'd be hard pressed not to do the manifold/header/tune/etc required to bump it to 130i power levels. That would be a fun project.
