+1. I haven't installed yet, but it doesn't seem that easy to me either. Maybe it's because the instructions and pictures are not as clear as it could be? Or maybe I'm retarded. When can we expect a video DIY? It would be very helpful.

DIY video should be up today. I think most people think this is difficult because the ECU cover needs to come off. People don't know that it literally takes 5 min. to take off the bolts and get to the area with the catch can. If you ever decide to get a ECU tune in the future, the first steps are what needs to be done. Total time is about 15-20 min. from start to finish. Its very easy if you follow the steps. We took a ton of pictures to have a lot of details in the DIY to make this an easier install. We are considering re-doing the DIY but don't know if we can make it anymore easy. 3 tools total. 14 bolts and 2 clips. We also have free Tech support for any products, so during the install, call us if you need any assistance. :headbang:

In theory, this is a simple install. You replace a small hose with two longer hoses. Not too bad..
But, I thought that the DIY simplified things a little too much and isn't as descriptive as it could be. Especially that four-way clamp.

If there really are people who think that the difficult part is removing the engine / ECU covers, they should reconsider doing this install.

We will make an adjustment to the DIY for that! You need to realize this was the first batch we sent out with the N54 kit. So your feedback is much needed. These are small changes we can make that will make it easier for the next guy. If anybody else has feed back on anything like Red please say something. Thank you!

A minor detail: it is a 5mm hex that is needed to remove the engine cover, not a 4mm. Like I said, minor. Thanks for the pic with the red boxes detailing where the screws were located on the cover. Without it I never would have seen that 4th screw.
Could anybody tell me why the screws for the microfilter are SAE on my German car?
