PPK from USA
Are the codes valid worldwide or are they market specific?
ie can i buy the PPK1 for about $450US and flash it locally? |

im not sure but you can flash ppk yourself with a change of a digit or something only works on the older models of 1's have a browse on the forum but there was definitely something about that, so you're not forking out an arm and leg.

The "free" flash is only for N55's and late builds at that on the interwebs.

I'll have another read but the last time i read the thread, it only works if you haven't had a software update at the dealer in approximately a year. Mine is 2010 with N55 and DCT

Can you do it on cars that have recent software from BMW? My integration level is from 2016 and one of my friends has 2013 software. |

Yes, we can flash the PPK regardless if the car was updated by the dealer as long as your car is 02/2012 or older. The only side effect previously was that Cobb had not caught up with supporting BMW's latest releases. However, that's not an issue now as Cobb supports the latest release from BMW.
