Camber plates on stock susp., Will my ride height be affected?
Hi all, I'm going back to stock suspension but I still want a good alignment for a track weekend. If I add GC camber plates to my stock springs/struts, how will it affect the front ride height? Or will it not be affected? Anybody have pictures?
Oh shit, can a mod please move this to the suspension forum? Dackelone Thanks Last edited by chris82; 02-11-2016 at 02:06 PM.. |

I've heard/read all 3 situations. You say higher, GC said the same, and I've read on the forums it could be lower. Care to explain why you say it's going to be higher? Stock suspension already has too much wheel gap.

Also wondering if there is a difference between the fixed camber plates (Dinan) and adjustable in terms of affecting ride height... |

I just called Ground-Control and they said it will be the same but then he mentioned something like there are 2 different spring pads with different heights? So I'm back at square one. |

With the GC plate, I think it depends on what size spring you use. With my Öhlins coilovers, which use 65mm ID springs, the GC plates replaced the stock strut mounts, so the total stack height wasn't necessarily increased. GC also makes a version for stock-diameter springs - no idea if it replaces or adds to stock parts.

Depends on the design but the difference in stack height shouldn't be that much. Else just get m3 arms and pull out the crash pin and call it a day. You'll get a decent amount of camber that's suitable for a dual duty car.
Which track day you attending? Let's get a n52 track day going! Last edited by 3002 tii; 02-14-2016 at 10:19 PM.. |

I've been flip flopping back and forth with the idea of going to stock due to some noise issues, but I've decided to keep the JRZs in. |

Neither really but I'll occasionally run PCA Schattenbaum because they offer the best value for normal DE.
