OT: Mini forums
1Addicts is by far the best forum I've signed up for, lots of traffic and lots of information.
Does anyone here know of a similar one for Mini's? I've discovered Mini2 and North American Motoring, but these don't have much Aussie involvement.

Assuming you're talking MINI's rather than Mini's, MINI2 used to be VERY good and had a VERY active Australian section with lots of meetups and runs, but then it imploded for various reasons.
it's a classic example of the Online Community Lifecycle: http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?CommunityLifeCycle forums.mini-mods.com.au is Australian based, though I haven't been on there for a while. I miss my MINI. |

forums.Mini-mods.com.au is a good local one.
The best one out there is motoringunderground.com for sure. There's also motoring alliance. If its classic minis, google ausmini. The bimmer post one is an empty wasteland. mini2 sold out and is crap now. There's a few current and ex mini owners in here. They also hang out in vwvortex a bit too... We've owned three minis so far, and they won't be the last... |
