It has been discussed before. All reasons are pointing to the engine is not certified for 2012 in the US.

No need to wait. Check autotrader or cars.com. There are plenty for sale

They have no plans for a N55 1M only N54 which won't be produced because it is not certified anymore in 2012.

I have a question, if N54 is not certified in the U.S

How come 335is and Z4 35is using N54 twin turbo engine still can be sell
in the U.S? just wondering why other models are fine only the 1 series with N54

Quite frankly don't get your hopes up...it is most likely a fluke on the system, as BMW just released the new 2012 MSRP list and the 1M is not on there. The 1M production for the USA stopped in October, and since then no other allocations have come to surface. The car will continue to be built for the European market through March of 2012.

The ones you see on auto trader, cars.com, etc - most are already accounted for but the dealer systems automatically post to these sites. The ones that are indeed available are very few, all of which have markups all the way up to 20-30k over MSRP. The lowest markup you'll probably find today is 3-5k.

If you look hard enough you'll find a car, just be ready to pay! Good luck!

Lol, you must of tons of experience with the 1M, dumbass. What about a 1M with the same engine mods? A 135i couldn't be one if it tried, unless you actually took everything including the chassis apart and put it together with 1M parts or better....

I think all 335's and Z4's with n54 engines are only up to 2011 models. Anything onwards will be using n55.

apparently you took what I said personal, but if you read what I typed in detail, you will notice they are simply facts...unless you wanted me to send the OP to a dealer to order one - which is impossible now, and was impossible at the time I typed my original reply.

Now I'm going to lower myself to your level and reply to you specifically: make sure you find a comfortable chair to sit in while you keep hoping, because it ain't gonna happen! Now don't you wish you had one?? just for you...
