Swapping Out Interior Trim
I'm considering having the wood trim in my 135i swapped out to either aluminum or piano black. I'm not willing to do it myself.
Has anyone gone down this road before with their local dealer's service deparment? If so, what is the approximate cost/headache? Any caveats? I'm having my SA look into the actual cost - just thought I would check here to see if anyone has any advice/warnings. Thanks in advance! |

You can see my DIYs for the interior trim and see if you want to do it yourself, it is not that difficult. |

Thanks for the info. I have seen that DIY and am a bit leary of attempting anything around the center console/ash tray area... a bit beyond my comfort level as far as DIY's go.

I just did the cf fabric wrap and with Andy's excellent diy I had the trim out in 20 minutes (with the proper removal tools) and the console took about an hour. It's very straight forward.
