OT : Nintento DSi owners.....

I have upgraded my kids from DS to DSi and of course the R4 cards won't work with the DSi. Does anyone know if an R4 for DSi exists? I bought one "R4i" from HK but it gave a "fake card" message on the DSi. Thanks in advance.

If it is a real R4i kit (and there are tons of fakes), it should work. Also, are you sure your micro SDHC card is compatible? My guess is that you have a fake R4i kit.

Your DSi should have the v1.4 firmware on it, which is known to be compatible with the real R4i setup.

I guess it's a lot more involved than the old R4 with the DS. I'm confused because I was told today that there is no such thing as a working R4i for the DSi (maybe the bloke worked for Nintendo!).

I'm in Bali, Indonesia at the moment and thought I would pick up a few cards but noone seems to know what I talking about. Any Bali veterans out there who know a reputable outlet in Kuta?
