Alpine HID V3 installed and review
Bought the group buy on these and finally found some time to install today. Using the install video it was pretty smooth and they worked like a charm right away. Also ordered the LED rear plate lights which install in seconds. I am quite happy with the look and the ease of install, delivery was fairly quick(to Canada) as well.
They are very bright, visible in daylight and very noticible at night but not so much that you could drive with only AE's on. Inner ring is brighter than the outer but was that way with the OEM lights too, as far as I know it is the design of the headlight and not something that any aftermarket lighting can control. Here are some direct sunlight pics both before and after. |

Here a couple close up night shots, anything from a distance I can't get any defined rings though as I said they are clearly defined to the eye. Looking at these makes me realize my headlight lenses are pretty beat up from rocks.
