Will 5x114 fit my car? or does it have to be 5x120?
And what does offset mean? Volks,Works.Advans all look great to me but what can i fit on my car??please help!!!

Hi Phil, Its a good question. You need 5x120 stud pattern with quite high offsets for the 1 series so unfortunately there are limited options and some are expensive too.

These ones I know of:
Advan: RZ, F15
Volk Racing: VR.G2, RE30, C345
57Motorsport: G07BW, G07WT-II.
Work: Meister S1-R, Meister M1-R
SSR: Professor SP1, Type F.
Prodrive-Japan: GC05K

Thanks John For The Info!so The Wheels That U Have Listed Above Are All 5x120's?
And Is There A Way To Fit The 5x114's Or It Will Never Fit My Car?
Sorry Might Sound Stupid Question But I'm So Lost!

They all have 5x120 and offset suitable for 1 series. They are wheels designed for the 1 series or the E46 3 series, since both fitments are similar. I don't think there is any way to fit other stud patterns. Some people get wheels re-drilled but I don't think thats a very good idea because of the cost and questionable safety as well.

The bolt pattern of your car is 5x120, so anything that is 5x114.3 will not bolt onto it without adapters or redrilling the wheels to 5x120. This is just the spacing of the bolts more or less.

The offset of the wheel is just the distance from the back pad (mounting surface) to the center of the wheel.

Different cars require different offset and widths for wheels. Obviously something that is too low of an offset (meaning the wheel is pushed OUT towards the fenders more) will rub, and if it is too high of an offset (meaning the wheel is pushed IN more) will rub on the suspension side.

Hope that helps!
