I highly doubt anybody on these forums is going to be interested in picking this up, but good luck!

My experience with this vehicle is limited to renting one for a track event when my car was out of commission. The hubcaps literally melted off of it.

The Cobalt pretty much summarizes exactly why the taxpayers of this country had to bail out GM.

Good luck with the sale.

I guess it would pretty much come down to the drivers ability..you could race a Cavalier around and keep up with this thing??!

Spose a Cavalier (mind you not the Hi Performance Z24 ) would be equally at home getting flogged (flagged?) on the course along with this shitbox?

I dunno but sorry, I aint' feeling it with this post or classified ad. Don't we want SOME decorum round here??

You'd think we'd have enough class around here to not shit all over someone's classified ad too.

This is the perfect sort of vehicle for someone who does a lot of mileage for work, or for a young driver.

FWIW, the SS and the LS are not even remotely the same. that's beyond comparing apples to oranges, there's almost nothing shared between these cars except for some of the very very basics.

jeremy, I tend to agree with you...but in this case the guy deserves it.... he has 13 posts on the forum.... of these 4 of them have not been related to him trying to sell a car completely unrelated to the 1 series, or BMW. (the SI and this car). He was inactive for a year then came back in force trying to sell said cars...and only to sell the cars.

So essentially his entire account is dedicated to trying to sell cars on this forum. Doubt the guy is a scammer, but it's enough to raise at least a miniature red flag.

Ok, but what level of involvement does a person need to post a classified ad?

I mean, it's an open, public forum, and the title is completely clear about the contents of the thread. If the admins want to restrict this section to BMWs, or active members, they should say that. I don't see how it means this guy "deserves" a ration of shit from some elitist who thinks driving a BMW makes him above other people to the point where reading a classified add about a Chevy is insulting his sensibilities.

The simplest thing for him to do was to just no click the thread instead of trying to police the content of the classifieds.
